Arsenal vs Real Madrid Hospitality Packages — Emirates Stadium, Champions League 2026/27

Last updated: 27 August 2026

The draw for the 2026/27 UEFA Champions League league phase took place in Monaco and it delivered one of the most anticipated home fixtures Arsenal fans could have wished for. Arsenal will host Real Madrid, Borussia Dortmund, Lille and Sabah at the Emirates this season, with exact dates to be confirmed by 29 August.

Real Madrid at the Emirates is the standout home draw — a rematch of one of the most dramatic ties in recent Champions League history, and a fixture that will sell out in every category the moment dates are confirmed.

The backstory — Declan Rice, two free kicks, and a historic win

The last time these two clubs met, Arsenal produced one of the greatest European performances in the club’s history in a tie that has already entered Arsenal folklore. Two stunning Declan Rice free kicks were the defining moments — thunderbolts that left Thibaut Courtois rooted to the spot and sent the Emirates into scenes of pure disbelief. The aggregate victory over the most decorated club in Champions League history was Arsenal’s most significant European result in a generation.

Real Madrid return to north London with something to prove. They have endured three quarterfinal exits in four seasons and will be desperate to reassert themselves as Europe’s dominant force. The final this season is scheduled for 5 June 2027 at the Estadio Metropolitano in Madrid — Real Madrid’s own ground. The motivation to get there could not be higher.

The Vinicius Subplot

There is an additional layer to this fixture that Arsenal fans will relish. Arsenal will be hosting the 15-time winners of the Champions League and doing so just months after coming agonisingly close to signing their star winger. Vinicius Junior was strongly linked with a move to the Emirates in the summer transfer window, generating enormous excitement among Arsenal supporters before the Brazilian ultimately chose to renew his contract with Real Madrid. When he runs out at the Emirates as a Real Madrid player this season, the reception will be loud, passionate, and loaded with what might have been.

What to expect on the night

A Champions League night at the Emirates is a different atmosphere from a Premier League matchday — more intense, more unified, with a sense of occasion that only European football generates. Against Real Madrid, the most successful club in the history of the competition, with the memory of Declan Rice’s free kicks still fresh and Vinicius on the opposite side — this will be one of the great Emirates nights. Whether you have attended before or this is your first time inside the ground for a European fixture, a hospitality package gives you the perfect setting to experience it.

For context on the full Champions League draw, Arsenal are also hosting Borussia Dortmund, Lille, and Sabah in the league phase this season.
